Whilst conducting the last two dives of a PADI Open Water Course, DJL Instructor Matt Notte and his two students (Carina & Edward) got a close up encounter with a whale shark.

During Open Water Dive 3, the group saw a 4 – 5 metre long whale shark, which remained around the pinnacle for the entire dive.
