Over the past month we’ve had many Whale Shark sightings around the island. These big fish have been spotted around White Rock and Nangyuan Island, on the East Side at Laem Thian and Tanote Bay, plus many sighting out at the Chumphon Pinnacles.

And another unexpected treat – DJL Instructor Les Skelton and his BSAC Ocean Diver student got to see a giant Eagle Ray at white Rock. Les reckons the giant elasmobranch was over three metres across! Not bad!
